HOA ANNUAL MEETING

Wednesday, November 3th, 7-10 pm

The association’s Annual Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at 7:00 at Flower Mound Town Hall located at 2121 Cross Timbers.

The agenda will include:

1.       LISD middle school presentation

2.       “State of the Association”

3.       financial report for 2004 projected budget for 2005.

4.       Elections for two of the five board members

At least one member from each household is encouraged to attend the Annual Meeting. It provides an excellent forum to discuss what is important to you, and find out how you can make a positive difference in what happens in our neighborhood.

You will receive a proxy form in your official annual

Completing the proxy and returning it before the meeting covers you if you cannot attend.

If you come in person your proxy will be returned to you as you sign in at the door.

Please return it to SRSHOA via mail: PO Box 271061, Flower Mound, TX 75027-1061, or fax: (972)874- 9541 before the meeting.

“Did you know that you

are responsible for the

sidewalk(s) that border

your home?”

Sidewalk Repairs

The Town’s new Sidewalk Repair and Replacement Program is designed to help encourage proper sidewalk maintenance, maintain property values, and assist homeowners with the cost of repairs.

Similar to many cities throughout Texas, homeowners in Flower Mound are, and always have been, responsible for the sidewalks on their

property. In an effort to assist residents in need of sidewalk repairs, the Town adopted a sidewalk repair and replacement funding program. By using Town contractors to perform repair work, combined with the Town’s volume buying power, the cost of repairs or replacement should be much less than it would be if an individual homeowner hired a private contractor.

The program allows homeowners to repay the Town over a 12-month period. Residents may choose to have their payments added to their monthly water bill. The only interest charged is the interest that the Town is incurring for the money available in the sidewalk replacement program, which is funded through a general bond obligation.
